How to send photos from your phone to your PC
- 1Open this page on your phone and tap Choose photos. Pick up to 5 from your gallery. If you already copied a photo, tap Paste instead.
- 2You get a 6-character code. The photos upload in the background, in their original quality.
- 3On your computer, go to colurus.com/c and type the code. The photos show up; download them or copy them to paste straight into a document, an email or a chat.
From iPhone or Android, to Windows or Mac
It's a web page, so it works the same on an iPhone and on any Android phone (Samsung, Motorola, Xiaomi…), and on the computer side in Windows, macOS or Linux. You don't install anything on either device, and they don't need to be on the same Wi-Fi: both just need internet.
iPhone photos in HEIC are handed over in a format Windows can open, so you don't need an extra converter. Photos keep their full size; nothing is compressed on the way.
And from your PC to your phone
It works the other way too. Open this page on the computer, paste a screenshot with Ctrl + V or drop an image, and scan the QR with your phone's camera. The image opens on the phone, ready to save or share.
Other ways to transfer photos, and when they're better
- USB cable. The best choice for hundreds of photos or for videos. It needs the cable and, on Android, choosing “File transfer” on the phone.
- Google Photos or iCloud. Good if you already back up your phone: the photos show up on the web after they sync. It needs the same account on both sides and enough storage.
- Phone Link (Windows). Shows your Android phone's recent photos on the PC, after you set it up on both devices.
- Bluetooth. Needs no internet, but you have to pair the devices and it's slow for large photos.
- WhatsApp or email to yourself. It works, but WhatsApp compresses photos unless you send them as a document, and it fills your chats.
This page is for the everyday case: a few photos, now, from any phone to any computer, without setting anything up. It doesn't send videos.

How do I transfer photos from my phone to my PC without a cable?
+
Open this page on your phone, tap Choose photos and pick up to 5. You get a 6-character code. On your PC, go to colurus.com/c, type the code, and download or copy the photos.
Does it work with an iPhone?
+
Yes. Open the page in Safari or any browser, choose the photos and open the code on your Windows PC or Mac. HEIC photos arrive in a format Windows can open.
Do I need an app or an account?
+
No. It works in the browser on both devices, with no app and no sign-up. It's free.
Do the photos lose quality?
+
No. They're sent at full size, up to 10 MB each, without compression. A format the web can't store, like HEIC, is turned into PNG, which doesn't lose quality.
How many photos can I send?
+
Up to 5 per code, as many codes as you need, and up to 50 things a day from the same connection. To keep more photos without codes, save them to a free Colurus account.
Do both devices need to be on the same Wi-Fi?
+
No. Each one only needs internet, on Wi-Fi or mobile data.
Who can see my photos, and for how long?
+
Anyone who has the code can open them, so don't send private documents. They're deleted 24 hours after you send them, or right away if you press Delete all on the phone. Shared photos aren't indexed by Google.
Can I send videos?
+
No, only images (JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, HEIC and others your phone can open). For videos or hundreds of photos, a USB cable or Google Photos works better.
