Moving things between your computer and phone often? Colurus does it without codes

Anyone with the code can see it, so don't share passwords. It deletes itself after 24 hours.

How to copy and paste between devices

Paste it here

Press Ctrl + V (Cmd + V on a Mac) with text, a link or a screenshot in your clipboard, or tap Paste on your phone. Keep pasting: up to 5 things go under the same code.

Get a 6-character code

You get a short code, a QR and a link. Scan the QR with your phone's camera, or go to colurus.com/c on the other device and type the code.

Copy it on the other device

Everything opens just as you pasted it, and new things show up on their own while the page is open. Copy text with one tap, or copy or download images. It's gone after 24 hours, or right away with Delete all.

No more sending things to yourself

Moving a link from your computer to your phone, or a photo from your phone to your laptop, usually means emailing yourself or sending it to your own WhatsApp chat. Here you paste, read six characters and paste again. It works on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and iPhone, in any browser, with nothing to install.

It also helps on computers that aren't yours: the work PC, a library or a friend's laptop. You don't sign in to anything, and what you share deletes itself in 24 hours, or right away when you press Delete all.

Questions

How do I send text from my phone to my PC?+

Open this page on your phone, copy the text and tap Paste. You get a 6-character code. On your PC, go to colurus.com/c, type the code and press Copy. It works the other way too: share from the PC and scan the QR with your phone's camera.

How do I move a photo from my phone to my computer without a cable?+

On your phone, copy the photo from the gallery and tap Paste on this page. On the computer, open colurus.com/c, type the code, and copy or download the image. You can send up to 5 photos under one code, up to 10 MB each, in their original quality.

Is it free? Do I need an account?+

It's free and there's no account or signup. You can share up to 5 things per code, as many codes as you need, and up to 50 things a day from the same connection. If you want what you copy to stay, Colurus itself is also free: sign in with Google and everything you paste is saved with its history.

How long does it stay, and who can see it?+

It deletes itself 24 hours after you share it, and you can delete it sooner with Delete all. Anyone who has the code can open it, and there are about a billion possible codes, so they're hard to guess. Still, don't use it for passwords or private data. Shared pages aren't indexed by Google.

What can I share?+

Up to 5 things per code, mixed however you like: texts up to 50,000 characters, links, and images (PNG, JPG, WebP or GIF, up to 10 MB each). Need more? Start a new code, or save them to Colurus with no limit. Images are copied back as PNG, ready to paste into Figma, Slack, Docs or a chat.

Does it work on iPhone, Android, Mac and Windows?+

Yes, in any modern browser. On a computer, paste with Ctrl + V or Cmd + V. On a phone, copy something and tap Paste; to copy a screenshot, open it in your gallery and use Copy first.
