Pushbullet alternatives (2026)
The best Pushbullet alternative depends on what you used it for: KDE Connect or Join come closest to its features, Phone Link is built into Windows, LocalSend and PairDrop move files, and Colurus keeps the texts, links and images you paste in the cloud. Pushbullet still exists, but its Android app was last updated in August 2025 and its Chrome extension in March 2023.

Is Pushbullet still working in 2026?
Yes, but it shows little maintenance. Its Android app was last updated on August 27, 2025, its Chrome extension on March 25, 2023, and its iPhone app is still on version 3.1.6, which asks for iOS 9. Some users report that the Chrome extension no longer works well; the desktop app is the safer bet if you keep using it.
Pushbullet has a free plan (files under 25 MB) and a Pro plan. Universal copy and paste moved to Pro when Pro launched in 2015. We couldn't read Pro's current price on pushbullet.com today, so check it there. Also, since Android 10, apps that aren't your keyboard or the app on screen can't read the clipboard, which limits automatic phone-to-PC copying for Pushbullet and every alternative below.
8 Pushbullet alternatives
1. Phone Link (Microsoft)
Built into Windows 10 and 11, with the Link to Windows app on Android. It shows your notifications and messages on the PC and gives you your phone's photos. Copy and paste between phone and PC works only on some Samsung, HONOR, OPPO, OnePlus, Realme, ASUS, vivo and Xiaomi phones. Free, with a personal Microsoft account.
2. KDE Connect
Free and open source, for Android, Windows, Mac, Linux and iPhone. Shares the clipboard, files and notifications, and lets you use the phone as a remote. It works over your local network, so both devices must be on the same Wi-Fi. On Android 10 and later, sending the phone's clipboard takes a tap on “Send clipboard”. No account.
3. Join (joaoapps)
The closest to Pushbullet: push links, files and notes, see notifications, send SMS from the computer and share the clipboard, with a Chrome extension, desktop apps and a web version. Free for a month, then a one-time $4.99. On Android 10 and later, automatic clipboard sharing needs a workaround with ADB from a computer; manual sharing works without it.
4. AirDroid Personal
Manage your phone from the computer or the web: files, notifications, messages and remote control. The free plan covers 2 Android devices and 200 MB of data a month away from your Wi-Fi (local transfers are unlimited). Premium costs $3.99 a month or $29.99 a year.
5. LocalSend
Free and open source, for Android, iPhone, Windows, Mac and Linux. It sends files and text to devices on the same Wi-Fi, without an account and without internet. It replaces Pushbullet's file pushes at home or at the office, not its cloud features.
6. PairDrop
Runs in the browser, so there's nothing to install: open it on both devices and send images, documents or text. Devices on the same network find each other; to send across networks, pair them once with a code or a QR. Free and open source, with no account.
7. Telegram Saved Messages
Every Telegram account has a chat with yourself. Send texts, links and files up to 2 GB from your phone and open them on the desktop or web app. It's free and works everywhere, but it's manual and needs a phone number. WhatsApp's “Message yourself” works the same way.
8. Colurus: a clipboard in the cloud
Colurus replaces the “push a note or a link to my other device” part of Pushbullet. You paste texts, links, images or code with Ctrl + V (or the Paste button on your phone), and they stay in your account, ready to copy again on any device where you sign in. On the other device they appear when you open or reload the page.
- History that isn't erased, with search, pins and notes. AI reads the text and colors in your screenshots.
- Works in the browser, with no app to install. Tested in Chrome on PC and Android. Sign in with Google.
- Free: 200 items, 2 boards and AI on 10 images a day. Pro: $6 a month or $60 a year.
- It doesn't mirror notifications or send SMS, and it doesn't save every copy on its own: only what you paste.
